01 Β· General assessment

What should you fix first?

Almost everything in marketing depends on something that comes before it. Spending on the wrong step is the most common way to conclude that "this doesn't work". This assessment scores six areas and applies sequencing rules β€” which is why your lowest-scoring area does not always come first in the plan.

Measurement

β€”

Do you have analytics installed with conversion events defined?

Do you know where your current customers come from?

Do you have a customer acquisition cost figure?

Site and conversion

β€”

Does your site load fast on mobile, measured with real user data?

Is it clear what you do and what the next step is?

Do forms work on mobile and notify you when a contact arrives?

Organic presence

β€”

How is your Google Business profile?

Do you publish your own content?

Do you know whether AI models mention you?

Paid acquisition

β€”

Do you invest in paid advertising?

Do your campaigns exit the learning phase?

Do you review which terms or audiences spend without converting?

Conversation and response

β€”

How long do you take to answer a new message?

Are your most frequent questions documented?

Is it written down who answers and during which hours?

Retention and data

β€”

Is your customer base somewhere you can query?

Do you measure customer satisfaction?

Do you do anything deliberate to bring customers back?

Why it exists

Why order matters more than score

The chain is measurement β†’ a site that converts β†’ traffic β†’ response β†’ retention. Each link needs the previous one, and skipping it does not speed anything up: it produces spend you cannot evaluate afterwards.

The most expensive sequencing error is investing in paid media before tracking works. It is not that it performs worse: it is that you will not know whether it performed. Three months later the conversation is "we spent X and I do not know what happened".

The second is sending paid traffic to a site that does not convert. Every peso of ad spend multiplies what you already have; multiplying a 0.5% conversion rate is expensive.

CRO comes last even though it sounds like the most sophisticated work: without conversion volume no test will ever close. And optimizing for AI citations before you have brand presence is optimizing to be cited when there is nothing to cite yet.

Questions

What people usually ask

Because dependency rules take precedence over the score. If your measurement is broken, fixing your social calendar changes nothing β€” even if social scores worse. The tool evaluates rules in order and the first one that applies becomes step one.

Did you get a number you did not expect?

Send it over and I will tell you what I would do with that case in the first 30 days, with nothing to hire. If the honest answer is that you do not need an agency yet, I will tell you that too.
